2020 Travels!

2019 has been a busy year, and 2020 is going to be EVEN BUSIER, which is overwhelming and exciting.

In 2019, I’ve visited Los Angeles and Washington D.C. We also went to Cedar Point here in OH and went to a couple local festivals and things, and went out for our favorite Columbus foods plenty of times. We also moved and have worked a ton. I’ve actually worked… 6 different jobs (though several were overlapping- only 3 have been full time if that makes it cuter to see, and 3 have been with the same company). Oh, and we got a puppy! Whew.

We are already making some plans for 2020. We’re kicking off the year right at Universal Orlando Resort (we’ll be there a few days in January). This trip is less than a month away now, and we finalized the itinerary today (we are very much itinerary people). Super excited to get all the food! And see Diagon Alley and all of the other wonderful things they have in Florida but not California.

New York City is being considered for the Spring. It’d be a multipurpose Anniversary/end of indoor drumline season celebration and also include a visit with a friend. In my 25-years as an American I have never been to New York City (!) but it’s always been somewhere I have felt that I HAVE to see. I hope we make it here 🙂

I wanna try to do at least one more trip for the year, and I’d love for it to be New Orleans. If I can squeeze in another, I’m thinking Denver, Boston, or back to Chicago (our favorite city). If that doesn’t work out, those will be reserved for 2021, when we’ll also be due for another trip to California!
