I ABSOLUTELY HAD TO try the Crumbl Cookies line-up this week. It was Hawaiian-inspired beauty. I love summer and I love tropical flavors so I was fully suckered in. To sweeten the deal even further, one of their offerings was a “pineapple whip cookie.” THAT’S RIGHT, dole whip in the form of a cookie. YUM.

These cookies were even more beautiful (and delicious) than expected, tbh. I went with a four-pack and picked three from the weekly menu, Hawaiian Rainbow Cake, Pineapple Whip and Shark. The other options were hazelnut sea salt and white chocolate macadamia nut. White chocolate macadamia nut is usually one of my favorite cookies, but I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out a few days ago and I felt like that might be a little tough to chew, because macadamia nuts are super crunchy, and I’m not really a hazelnut fan. For those reasons I went with the classic milk chocolate chip that they have every week.

I will say, their chocolate chip cookie is special. Just like any of their cookies, it’s perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The thing that makes their choco chip cookies uniquely delicious, though, is that they’re made with milk chocolate chips. This added creaminess just really does something, especially paired with the salty and crispy dough.

I was most excited for the pineapple whip cookie, and it did freaking deliver. The actual cookie is made with pineapple, and you can definitely detect a nice amount of tiny pineapple pieces in the cookie. I liked this! I tried the cookie on it’s own and the pineapple flavor wasn’t very strong but was still there. For the actual cookie, the ~pineapple~ factor mainly presents itself in the texture. THE WHIP THO. This topping was freaking insane. It definitely had a light, whipped feel. The flavor was bright, punchy pineapple and I loved it. Pure delicious tropical summer. I will definitely get it again if they bring it back next year!

The shark cookie was just a sugar cookie, but supposedly made with vanilla flavor instead of almond flavor like the pink sugar cookie that they carry pretty consistently most weeks. I feel like this was still almond haha. No complaints at all though, it’s an INCREDIBLE almond sugar cookie. So good.

Lastly……. my favorite. I will be thinking about this cookie for days, maybe weeks, maybe months. The Hawaiian rainbow cake cookie was a cake batter cookie topped with coconut cream cheese icing. I did not know what to expect with this but holy shifkjgnajdnffucfgjneargk. The coconut flavor was more of a toasted coconut, with a warm and creamy vibe. It was also extremely adorable. The cookie wasn’t super special on it’s own. The icing is the star of the show with this one. Wow. It was really stinking good and I’d definitely recommend you try it.

I wanted to see a cross-section of this mess. I know you do too.

I hope this was interesting! If there’s a crumbl near you, have you tried it? I’ve been to mine a couple times, which I usually post on my Instagram. If you haven’t checked that out, it can be found @ wherewegonnaeat! I think today’s sampling puts the Hawaiian rainbow cake and pineapple whip up with my other favorites- Andes mint, churro, and frosted animal cookie.
