Disney World is home to some unique breakfast items as well as the classic stuff. On my recent trip in November, I tried some new things! Here’s what we had and what we thought.

Having not yet seen Galaxy’s Edge, that was of course our first stop of the trip, so it’s where we had breakfast! I tried the Triple Suns breakfast wrap and my fiancé had the classic Ronto Morning breakfast wrap.
Triple Suns is the plant-based wrap, and it’s pictured above on the left. The pita wrap is filled with an egg substitute, roasted tomato sauce, and a chickpea-onion slaw. It has a good flavor, but is super mushy. I left the last few bites because the mushiness became overwhelming. The Ronto Morning wrap was as great as you’d think. How could scrambled eggs, grilled sausage, cheddar cheese, and peppercorn sauce in a pita be bad?

While breakfast the next day wasn’t bad, it wasn’t like, great. In Animal Kingdom, we had breakfast bowls from Yak & Yeti. While they were nutritionally satisfying, they weren’t delicious. Some type of sauce is needed (hot sauce isn’t saucey enough and I was not about to add mayo or ketchup) to make these enjoyable, and they need to be served hotter.

Jon had the one with bacon, and I had the one with no meat. As you can see above, the cheese wasn’t melty in the slightest (I honestly do not appreciate cold shredded cheese). The potatoes were also dry, reinforcing the need for a sauce. I did appreciate the addition of green onions, though. Green onions make everything a little better.

If you’re more of a breakfast pastry person, I feel you. First thing in the morning my tummy ain’t ready for a full meal and I like to grab something small and sweet. After working up an appetite (like by going on a nearby roller coaster) I’ll be interested in a larger, more savory breakfast. If you know what I’m talking about, I’m sure you’d be interested to know where to get a good chocolate croissant! This Tiger Tail pastry (found at a cart in the Himalayan section of Animal Kingdom) has a twin at Magic Kingdom as well (called the Cheshire Cat Tail, served at Cheshire Café). I’ve shared my feelings on this treat before, but I here want to emphasize my conclusive statement that it’s a chocolate croissant that has nothing wrong with it.
Hope that little run-down is helpful if you’re wondering what to eat for breakfast in Disney World! If you have favorite morning eats and treats in the parks, please share below 🙂
