The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is one of the coolest, if not the absolute coolest, land in a theme park. It’s so richly themed and just has such a fun vibe, whether or not (in my opinion) you’re a Harry Potter fan. I haven’t read any of the books, but I have seen all of the movies and think I’m a Hufflepuff.

In addition to theming that totally transports you to this fantasy world and some of the very best rides in Universal, Harry Potter World has some AMAZING food and snacks.

Taking the Hogwarts Express from park to park was super fun, and the show is different each way! One way was more interesting than the other but… I don’t think I remember which it was. I think I preferred the way from Universal Studios to Islands of Adventure. That could be wrong, though, so you should try both ways just to be safe. Hehe
We visited the Leaky Cauldron for breakfast, and I got the American breakfast with pumpkin juice (and gave my boyfriend my sausage and bacon). Was pretty classic and basic but I had zero complaints! The potatoes were well-seasoned and yummy, and I think the atmosphere of the restaurant makes it worth a visit (considering that the food is definitely not bad). I was SO into the pumpkin juice- it has a cider vibe, but is just pumpkin instead of apple haha. Spicy and delish (buuut my boyfriend didn’t love, so if that doesn’t sound good it might not be your jam).
My boyfriend Jon wanted to get a little adventurous, so he got the Traditional Breakfast (which is a traditional English breakfast, if ya weren’t sure). This dish serves as a reminder of how different our diets are even though America and England do have a bit of culture in common! The Traditional Breakfast comes with the same eggs, potatoes, and sausage as the American, but also includes black pudding, baked beans, a grilled tomato, sauteed mushrooms, and English bacon (similar to Canadian bacon). If this sounds good, and you know what black pudding is and aren’t afraid, of course you should try it. Know, though, that we were not that into most of this.

Butterbeer is one of the best snacks-in-drink-form that you can get in the parks, so we got one every day. Of course! We even wore cute “here for the butterbeer” t-shirts. 🙂

In my book, a trip to Universal is not complete without Fish and Chips at Three Broomsticks. If ya didn’t know, Fish and Chips is my favorite food anyway, and it fits so well into the vibe of the Wizarding World.

This was also my first time at Universal Orlando, so my first time seeing Diagon Alley! We did visit the Hollywood park earlier in the year, but they have half as much Harry Potter World as the Florida location. Not sure which park I’ll be in next, but know I can’t wait!
